The October Feast: Celebrating Unity Among Our Staff
As part of our Air Peace 10th Anniversary celebrations, we hosted a special segment called the "October Feast" for our dedicated staff. This unique event featured a thrilling football tournament where teams showcased their skills, camaraderie, and team spirit. The football tournament, which began in August and concluded on October 20, 2024, became a fun-filled activity that strengthened bonds among our employees.
The tournament featured eight teams in the male category, including BUU Shooters, BVE Rangers, BQQ Warriors, and others. The female category had two highly competitive teams: BUJ Amazons and BYF Angels. After several intense matches, the BXG Gunners emerged victorious in the male category, while the BUJ Amazons clinched the win in the female category, both in dramatic penalty shootouts. These teams were awarded exciting prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances. This event was not just about football; it was a chance for our employees to unwind, bond, and celebrate their collective success. It truly embodied the spirit of unity that defines Air Peace
A Grand Celebration at Eko Hotel and Suites
The Air Peace 10th Anniversary gala at Eko Hotel and Suites was an evening filled with elegance, inspiration, and celebration. We were honored to have dignitaries, industry leaders, and special guests join us in this momentous occasion. The highlight of the evening was a heartfelt speech delivered by our CEO and Chairman, Dr. Allen Onyema, who shared his reflections on the airline’s extraordinary journey.
In his speech, Dr. Onyema expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of our employees, partners, and passengers, saying, "This anniversary is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved with Air Peace. From our humble beginnings to becoming the largest airline in West Africa, we have proven that with resilience and passion, anything is possible."
